Starting with expressive cello pieces performed by the talented Emmanuel Ventura-Cruess aka EMÆL, Nathan ventured into extensive sound manipulation using a modular synthesizer. This process transformed raw cello recordings into a haunting soundscape that mirrors the film’s dark themes and intense emotions.
This undertaking wasn’t just about crafting background music; it was about redefining how music interacts with and enhances the storytelling in film. Nathan broke away from conventional composing to sculpt a sonic experience that blurs the boundaries of traditional film scoring.
